Cooperative Enterprises Build a Better World

Co-op Month 2012 continues the celebration of the International Year of Cooperatives!  

The slogan for Co-op Month 2012 is the same as that for the International Year: “Cooperative enterprises build a better world.”  This slogan conveys the contributions that cooperatives make to social and economic development.

Please plan to use the logo created by the United Nations in your materials.  The UN requires that any organization planning to use the logo receive approval.  If you have not been approved, please visit this site.

Celebrate Co-op Month during all of October—but especially during Co-op Week, Oct. 14-20, 2012.

2012 Co-op Month materials

The 2012 materials incorporate the official logo and slogan.  Materials, including posters, web banners and bingo cards are part of a "communications toolkit," available for download and customization at the US International Year of Cooperatives website.

Don’t forget to make use of the additional, proven materials at this site that can support your efforts, including our What is a Co-op brochure and the A Day in the Life of Cooperative America booklet.  You can order copies of the booklet and have them shipped directly.
